Every single gearbox is thoroughly tested before painting and packing, in order to ensure highest quality for the client.
During their testing, the transmissions are operated at varying speeds (from minimum to maximum speed).
In order to reveal any potential flaw, the gearbox is connected to a series of pressure, temperature, and vibration sensors. A white tracer dye coat is used to make eventual fluid leaks visible.
If any doubt exists, or any abnormal vibration is detected, the transmission will be fully dismantled, repaired, and re-run on the test bench. With its tracing card, the gearbox will be dismantled and rebuilt by the same person who has done the initial assembly, to make error correction easier.
