• Masson Innovative Propulsion has started to develop and commercialize a new range dedicated to the specificities of electrical propulsion: the “E” products. Advantages of this configuration are countless: the weight is reduced, the gearbox less expensive, and the maintenance is made easier as there is no clutch to take care. Less parts, less costs and increased lifetime. For these products, we advise to use a frequency converter to prevent overtorque.
• The E-range is a new type of gearbox, but it is heavily based on the standard design reverse gear, resulting in a very high parts commonality and proven reliability.
